Have you always wanted to write a book?
Maybe you've started one. Or ten. But never finished.
Or maybe you've always wanted to write a book, but have no idea how to start.
It could be that you've believed you couldn't do it for a long time, but now you're questioning that belief.
If not writing that book is a regret of yours, this program is for you.
Muse Mapping for Writers is the program that will set you on your writing journey.
A creative practice is about more than will, or talent.
It's about finding the time. Building your craft. Getting past obstacles and blocks. Getting through the slog that can happen in your creative process. Defining success for yourself. Building a community that supports you.
That may sound daunting, and it can be. But I created the Muse Mapping program to help people build their creative practice. And now, I've created this program specifically for the needs of writers.
In the eight week program you'll not only learn how to write a book, you'll learn how to create a writing practice that works for you.
My name is Julie Hennrikus, and I'll be working with you in this program
I've been working in arts administration for over thirty years, and teaching for fifteen. I'm also a life coach who specializes in working with people on a creative journey.
Additionally, I'm a traditionally published mystery author. I write under several names, and have had three series published (to date). My own writing journey gives me tremendous joy, so I'm very happy to combine all my skills for this program.
Weekly lessons on writing your novel
There's no one way to write a book, but there are some mechanics that will help you figure out YOUR way. For eight weeks you'll receive a module that includes lessons on everything from plotting to character sketches to settings to building tension. These mechanics will inspire you to start, and give you the framework to finish.
Tools That Support a Writing Mindset Shift
Talent alone isn't what will support your on your writing journey. You also have to develop tools that support you on your writing journey. How to deal with writer's block. What to do when you lose confidence? How to prepare yourself and your work to get out in the world? Each week you'll have lessons that will help you build that toolbox.
There is a coaching component to Muse Mapping for Writers that sets this program apart. In addition to the lessons, you'll have the opportunity to talk through your progress with me. We'll work through whatever you need support one, whether it's plotting challenges or writer's block. I can't wait to work with you!
